I got 3x 40GB fat consoles over 2 weeks. 2 are ylod (haven't investigated them thoroughly yet) but the third is fully working. Just needed a good clean
Swapped in a 320GB HDD and upgraded to 4.70 OFW (it was on 4.55 anyway).

Now I'm testing misc games using backup injection method. Haven't done any disc conversions yet though, just all digital stuff.

You should be able to data transfer stuff to OFW above 4.70 but I think you need 2 consoles with the same firmware level, one CFW and the other OFW. You do everything you need to on PC & the CFW then you transfer to OFW.

GTA V disc 1 is DRM free, you can inject that install content.
The Dragon's Dogma stuff is DRM locked though afaik.

So if you can find the files you could delete GTA V install and not worry about not having the disc.

This Outbreak is interesting. 'member I rented it once when that was still a thing.

It sucks pretty bad in a lot of areas but some of the concepts behind doing things are great. Almost feels like a few aspects of this game went into re5.

Load times seem to be a tad quicker on pc. One of my major gripes was that it was insanely slow on load times on the system itself.

Oh and Kingdom Hearts is running on my piece of shit at 4x native like a trooper. This definitely takes a top spot for most easily emulated ps2 game

Funny enough it's running better at 4x than it did on 2 or 3 :frazzlefucked:

I own Dragons Dogma so moot point there. Uninstall and done. Reinstall when I want. It's only a couple gigs. My saves are backed up too. It's weird game for saves in the first place. Kinda like Demons Souls.


GTAV doesn't get touched.
