    500GB partitions should be fine

It's not that the Xbox can not read drives bigger than 500GB but partitions

The bigger the cluster size the bigger the partitions can be if I remember that correctly

No idea what problems the xbox may have with cluster sizes above 32 my 750 GB drive was fine with it

You only need an E drive anything after that is just a bonus

C:\ is the original system and the 1st Partition
    D:\ is the DVD drive
E:\ is the second partition of the Drive, normally the place that a softmod would be stored
F:\ is the 3rd Partition, normally where software such as games are stored
G:\ would be the 4th Partition more games or other media

Not sure if you can make any more that that

But sounds like you have all the space used for the 4th partition with only small partitions used for C, E and F

Thanks for replying, Zorlon. Yeah, from what I can tell, my F:/ drive has 120GB devoted to it (for CoinOps 8) and my G:/ drive 1.7TB. My concern now is whether I can continue installing things to the G:/ drive (formatted in 128k clusters) without fear of data becoming corrupted after a certain point? If not, do I then have to reformat both F:/ and G:/ and divide the HDD space equally between the two drives (1TB each in 64KB clusters)?

Hi Matt you going to need xbox partitioner xbe 1.x and 1.3 (x is for 1.0-1.2)
first use a 1.x version to make f and g just under 1TB then use 1.3 to make f and g partition 1TB. (1.x doesn't always format to 64 clusters and 1.3 has bug if partition is 1tb or greater before resize/format it will crash).

I would advise against c and e partition change if you have softmod
