She finally got to me today and said that they went with another candidate but "they'd keep me on file" and "if they ever needed a video editor they'd call me." For, what? One job? Then I'm done again? Ah well.

I've gotten calls about that, I've gotten calls from recruiters asking me about having specific scientific qualifications and then asking me what they meant because they genuinely didn't know, they just seem to match this series of letters in someone's resume to the series of letters in job spec. They also tend to be pretty young too.
