I thought there used to be one, maybe I'm misremembering.

I would just put it here myself:

Unless you've written a guide with emphasis on one specific platform in particular...then use the relevant sub-forum for that platform.
Anyway, Zorlon will move it if he feels it belongs somewhere else.
Spoiler warning:
Well kinda hard to post there if there is no Post New Thread Button.

There's skill involved with either. One is purposely handicapping yourself and the other isn't. I'm preferential to KB/mouse for anything that doesn't call for specific peripherals. If people want to play FPS or RTS with a controller I don't care, I refuse to do it.
I had to search for one of my threads to find it.

Wow what a nice long sleep!!! I needed that!
It's not a handicap if everybody is using the same controller.
You also forgot to mention games that require a specific platform.
I can't play UT04 on my consoles, you can't play Killzone 2/3/Shadowfall or Uncharted 2/3/4 on your PC.
Works both ways.
Honestly I don't enjoy playing mp as much as sp but then it's very rare that I play with people I know, and even rarer doing it just for fun.
