I think the 70's were a hugely important time for films, basically moral restrictions appeared to have lessened and colour film really came into it's own. I'm not saying the films were the best but there was a huge change in terms of film quality from the 70's onwards.Originally Posted by Gary Оak

Hard to take someone's opinion on movies when they don't watch them. I think the 90s was the best time period for film for a lot of reasons and I still watch the occasional newer movie.
