pec not working on epsxe v 2.0.2-1

when i tried using pec on the newer version of the epsxe emulator

v 2.0.2-1, pec did not show up in the video plugin area

so what could be wrong then

It's no longer supported.. use an older version of ePSXe like 1.9.0

and everytime i run on game on Pec, alot of error mesages show up

so what could be wrong

how am i spose to cheat on the epsxe if PEC no longer works

Sounds like your system is unstable possible virus maybe

PEC is no longer supported but there are other ways to use cheats especially as ePSXe has it's own build in cheat engine anyway

go to http://psxdatacenter.com/downloads.html scroll down to the bottom and look for EPSXE CHEATS PACK NUMBERS-Z v.4.0 download it and extract it to the cheats folder (it's just a bunch of text files)

run ePSXe and boot the game of choice, press ESC to return to the gui then and look under Options>Cheat Code

To get PEC to send its code to ePSXe properly you have to right click both programs and Run as Administrator.

it only works for the 1 character in the game

so what am i doing wrong then

i am using the epsxe in-built cheat program on the epsxe

Codes for RPGs tend to be active for one spot in the party. I found a list of codes hotcheats.com that lists the codes you've given as "All Character codes" while the next section lists "During Battle" codes for each spot in the party. What it probably means is that those codes work for "All Characters" when they are in the first spot in your party. Try the other codes for "During Battle" and see if they do what you want.

I'm sure you aren't doing anything wrong. The description on the site is not clear and concise.

Just use the GS22 codes

looks like the second code is taking over the first one

the second codes are the same codes just in a different format (Caetla) that is not supported by ePSXe so is only talking the second part of that code that only holds that single address instead of using the repeater code

The codes are for all characters though

The codes are possibly from codetwink that gives you the codes in both GameShark (aka Action Replay) and Caetla format that was a cheap Chinese Action Replay type clone most commonly known as a device that you could use play backups with, a back port mod for the original PSX, anyway those codes are not intended to be used together it is either one or the other not both formats at once though

so what could be wrong then

PEC works fine for me, you need to grab the latest PEC.dll from that data center site that was created to work specifically for ePSXe 2.0.
