I had a lot of fun with it. I actually thought the little changes they made are good, although having to repair power armor parts is annoying enough to not bother using any power armor 95% of the time.
But yeah it was good to see weapons & personal armor/clothes don't need repairing, upgrades at benches, no superfluous extra ammo types or crafting for that crap like was in NV (it was just unnecessary fluff imo).
And power armor jet packoh yeah.

Also having that survival mode in NV tied to trophies wasn't cool imo. Ok to have it as an extra mode for people that want to use it, but tying it into the platinum wasn't a good idea.
You can speed run NV on that mode in a few hours to get the trophy if you setup your character the right way (to use particular dialogue options).

Currently I use a 10mm pistol, a .44 revolver and a .308 rifle. I really love the weapon mods. Soon the rifle will be modded to use .50mm rounds! Im only lvl15, but my 44 does 60-something damage. Decent recoil for a 6 shooter and everything has quick eject mags. Again, I really love the weapon mods.I didn't think I would care that much, but Im feeling awfully american now.
