It should look good enough on a CRT that supports component input. You only really need extra stuff (video processor and such) if you are going to play it on an HDTV. Aside from that you just need one of the models that supports video out and the cord itself.

I thought it was overrated. I've read every chapter of the manga to see if I liked it. But to each their own.
