On the bright side you can get a dvd drive really cheap. I don't think there is any reason to pay more than $10-15 or so (for a new one, obviously) unless you are going top of the line. You could always try used from a thrift store but idk how doable that would be in your area.

I'll spend $25 for another LG drive unless someone can suggest a better drive for less with shipping. yeah the likelihood of finding a used one at a thrift store around here is slim to none that and I really wouldn't trust a used one especially with the amount I use it.
