I had been playing Ys III on gen but I got frustrated with it so I have been playing other games.

Oath in Felghana (same game, in terms of the timeline, it's a remake or w/e) is better.

    Best version hands down.
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

US dub is pretty awful though. Genny version is comparable. Like I said he should just go with Oath.

Ya its laughable but its tolerable.

PC Engine soundtrack is the definitive version, they kinda borked the extreme awesomeness of the PC Engine soundtrack in the remakes, I wouldn't mind playing them though.

It's a shame because the dub for Book I-II is so good.

Yep, there's the new Star Wars spoiled for me, not like I was a big fan anyway.

@Grouch: I just got a pile of Atari games for dirt cheap. I'll look through them and see if there are some you were looking for.
