I use the unofficial 64bit firefox titled Waterfox, lame name I know but it runs better than regular firefox on 64 bit systems.

Whatever you do/did in firefox runs exactly like it does in waterfox, just the icon is blue and it doesn't crash as much.

No data transfer needed, all you do is run it and its like you opened your firefox, everything is configured/setup the same.

that sounds cool. I have been having a bit of trouble with FF all week it's been giving me shit when browsing around CL mostly when I use the main link button to go back to the listings page FF tells me it's an un-trusted site but I haven't seen any info to indicate that thers an actual problem with the site. so I'm wondering if it's just me having this trouble I've also tried adding an exception but it screws the page layout up it makes it look like basic html.

That's weird I had the occasional untrusted but no other issues.

If you want try Waterfox, it should be virtually the same though.

didn't see it when I searched. is there an adblocktype plugin for it? adblock+ isn't compatible.

Adblock Plus is, I'm using it right now.

Everything from firefox is usable in waterfox, just check your add ons.

I did but it said it wasn't compatible so I removed it I'll check their site and see if I can install it fresh.

after a little issue waterfox is a lot better gmail still loads slow and locks up for a few seconds but overall loading is faster even videos have been loading faster. thanks for the suggestion gobby.
