I had a quick look on wiki and didn't see it mentioned, although I may have overlooked it. Some people have started using it for large P2P shares.

RAIIIIIIIIIIIN!!!!!!! YAYYYYYYYYYY!
Please put the forest fires out mister rain god!!!
I pretty much just come back and peek at retro every few months.
I'm pretty sure I've had similar issues before, but I don't recall exactly what the cause was. My first guess would be to change these two settings under Multi-sub/etc. If they're currently off, turn them on and vice versa. Enabling the External Module is more likely to work, but I always turn on realtime subs also because it makes my music animu with the sing-along subtitles much better.

Could also try messing with the subtitle positioning, margins, and size. There are some hotkeys for those, but again, I don't recall what they were.
Also, x265 should work fine as long as you can install a codec for it.
EDIT: Yeah, definitely supported.

Aren't all the codecs for KMP part of the player itself![]()
Spoiler warning:
No, codecs installed separately can apply to almost any media player. Just like a driver for hardware (i.e. your video card), the player just has a hook that says "decode video" and will call out to whatever codec is best suited for it. That's why a lot of instructions you read for "How do I watch ____ videos on my computer?" will say "Okay, install the player, then install FFmpeg and CCCP, and voila! You can now watch ___ videos using this player that I have a vested interest in pushing!"
