I couldn't even connect to anyone online. So I just gave up, took it out of my PS4, and tried SO hard not to break it in half...SERENITY NOW.

The AI is fucking retarded, you need to play online with real people to actually accomplish anything.
Also, PS3 version (PSN version anyway) requires an update which is like virtually downloading the whole game again iirc

Because you can play the DLC (which doubles the size of the game) without owning it if someone in your group happens to have it. Also they patched in new enemy types and weapons. Also added a few maps for everyone. Also added a new difficulty level. Also rebalanced a dozen things. Also other stuff.

But sure, keep whining.

But the barflies have a 99.9% chance of not liking games/carry a STD of some kind AND will just want your cash and to make your life as miserable as possible if you get on their bad side.

That's a feature actually. The game randomly generates certain aspects. Like guards and cameras.

Also I assume they didn't shoot because you were in a stealth mission. They don't shoot on stealth missions.

Yes the AI was moronic but they aren't there for big jobs like Big Oil or Firestarter. They're in there so you can speed run the simple missions like Ukranian Job or Four Stores for reward cards. Which you then use to trick yourself out for when you jump into an online game of Rats or whatever.
