Yeah it's fun I'm glad I bought it. It actually has some shmups trapped on it, unless you emulate of course. Also, it has some definitive console version of some games such as, oddly enough, Cadash.

Now I just need the CD attachment so I can play some CD games I have.

There are different units. The Super CDROM2 costs as much as a recapped Duo or full IFU set-up so that was out for me from the get go. I personally didn't want the Duo because it requires recapping. So that left for me the IFU set-up or a Duo R. The Duo R (barring a great deal, which hilariously popped up on Ebay after my purchase, at least I mentioned it to a friend who bought it) is $100 or so more than the typical cost for what I'm doing so there was really no choice for me.

doesn't seem like the price is too high but the shipping cost seems really high.

That's a sucker price tbf I was just linking to it to show what it is. I'm either buying one broken for $50 or less (easy to fix) or I'll win an auction on a working one for $90 or less shipped. There are a couple of sellers on Ebay that start all their auctions on the systems working or broken at a dollar. It's of course no risk to them because it always get bid up.

I beat the SNES ver back in the day and never looked back when I started the PCE CD version with its killer tunes.
