I just don't think I'll ever get used to getting up at 5AM, over 3 years later.

I got used to getting up at 7 cause I did it for school but I rarely had to get up at 5, maybe about 7 times in my life.
Is Dead Island any good, I'm out of ideas for games that might interest me in the steam summer sale and I'm thinking of getting it.
I enjoy them, but I can't speak for the last spin-off game (Escape Dead Island)...I have avoided it completely after seeing some screenshots and comments about gameplay.
I've played DI & Riptide quite a few times on both 360 and PS3 now, still not sick of them
I'm not sure if people are using modded weapons on steam though![]()
Spoiler warning:
Tass bought it anyway, I looked on Steam and seen![]()
Yo dawg, pick up these fuel canisters and deliver them over here!
This is all I remember about the first Dead Island game.![]()
It isn't a long game if you play with people that know what they're doing. You can tell them what to do via a headset if they're stupid.
As for repetitive...well, plenty of games are full of that stuff. If you're grinding in Souls games that isn't repetitive?![]()
Spoiler warning:
It's not a matter of not knowing what you are doing, beating zombies in the head is the most simplistic action a game can offer. Anyone can do it right. The game is long because there are a lot of side missions that only keep you going back and forth around the maps.
Grinding in Souls games requires playing the given game more than once. If you find it repetitive, simply, play it once and don't grind anything, you'll have a fantastic experience not repetitive at all
Dead Island on the other hand offers very little replay value aside from using the other characters. No NG+, no different endings, etc. You can't really compare them..
I don't know about Dying Light. It's next-gen more of the same, isn't it?
Omg omg, Gears of War Ultimate Edition online gameplay on YouTube, so bloody excited.
I was talking about grinding in Souls games, not NG+. I've only played Demon's Souls & Dark Souls but in both of them I couldn't just push through the entire game without grinding in certain parts before pushing further.
Maybe I just plain suckThat sort of thing isn't uncommon with jrpgs anyway.
Not saying I hate the Souls games, but I gave up on Demon's Souls just after starting NG+ because the difficulty just jumped up a bit for my liking and I was sick of the grinding.
I was pointing out that grinding is repetitive, and just happened to use Souls as an example of repetitive grinding. Obviously the games are different. I have no idea why you would assume I would claim the games have similarities.
If you find DI side missions repetitive then don't do them. Neither game is that long really if you concentrate on just getting through and ignore everything else.
Spoiler warning:
So hyped for a game I played to death 6-7 years ago. Yep.
Could've just played it 6-7 years ago. I didn't play it when it first launched, didn't have a PSX at the time.
