M$ conference wasn't bad at all.
But Sony's was simply orgasmic. As Elly said, 3 of the most anticipated games ever are finally on their way to be that, games and not recurrent rumours or vaporware. After more than decade, the 3 of them were announced at once.

If that's not making history in the gaming industry, I don't know what it is.

I don't care for Shenmue III because I never played II, I played some of it but never got into it and finished it. I'd moved on from slow paced games like this by then, I was into FPS and car games, that's when it all started to go down hill for me.

Haven't watched the conference, so couldn't tell you what else is in there. And to be honest, I don't know if I'll ever get around to playing any of the three titles anyway (even the FFVII remake - kind of felt like I was done with the game after playing it in Japanese, and if it's anything like the various sequels and prequels they made in terms of tone, I'm not sure it's something I'd really enjoy). But definitely enjoying riding the wave of nostalgia and hype that is sweeping the internet this morning based on those three titles alone. One of the most popular vaporware titles of last generation, one of the most eagerly requested sequels ever, and almost certainly the most wanted remake of all time all announced in one day? Nuts. It's like they gathered up a bunch of diehard fanboys and asked them to write the script for this year's E3.

I don't even know what I'm supposed to be upset about any more. The list of sequels/spiritual successors/games we all bitch about wanting to see is getting really fucking small between shit like this and kickstarter.

If we get hoverboards and flying cars I'd probably be done trying at life since clearly there's nothing else worth doing.

Hints at a new Chrono game in the music to SquEnix's E3 trailer with its remix of Frog's theme, too. Wrote it off as just a coincidence to begin with when I saw it being rumoured, but if SquEnix have seriously committed themselves to remaking Final Fantasy VII of all things, then I think all bets are off the table now.
