Shin Megami Tensei : Persona 3 How to convert .rar to .iso

I've been having this problem since I tried installing god of war from EP. Most of the guides on the internet keeps saying that you'll need to extract it.

I've extracted the first .rar and got:
.r00 - .r29 in .rar
.r30 - .r65 in .r** file
System Information thingy
.sfv
.iso.rar (Whut?)

I've extracted the .r00 to .r29 and .r00 to .r65 using winrar that gave me a folder with PSP_Game and UMD Data thingy.
So what exactly do I need to do to convert it to .ISO I wanted to try extracting .r00 - .r65 using 7zip but it cant convert multiple files at once i think.

You need to extract .iso.rar to iso. Winrar can also extract .iso which is something you dont want to do with a PSP game, and is probably what you accidentally did. just extract .iso.rar file once and you should get your iso file.

My bad but I said something wrong. I extracted .r** and got the .iso.rar then I extracted it again and got the folder. Should I convert that folder to .ISO instead?

I tried finding a solution myself, I ended up right clicking the .iso.rar file and turned it into a disc thingy using the open with > winrar or disc stuff. Hope it works.

You have a scene release, it is a split archive.

Extract folder containing split archive/SFV/NFO.

look for the first part of the split archive, in this case it is,
pspking-smtp3p.rar for the USA version and open it then you will see pspking-smtp3p.ISO and extract that.

What does split archive means?
I extracted the .rar that i installed and got a folder with this . It's the only file with .sfv

Split archive is a archive that has been put in parts as you see with that archive.

The NFO and SFV are of no importance, NFO is the scene groups information, the SFV is for checking the split archive for any errors.

So basically I need to extract .r** and the other .rar ? I also ended up having a disc image file. I tried it and it didn't work should I convert that disc image instead?

You are making this way harder than it should be

You downloaded it from the main site correct?

it will be a rar, open that rar, extract the folder you see as soon as it opens, enter the folder, look for the First part, the first part will have the rar extension, open that part , you will see the ISO, extract that.

Then you will have a working playable UMD image, go here for the latest PPSSPP builds - http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/

Get the topmost build, its best to check periodically for new builds, stuff is added/fixed to make the emulator even better.

Im trying to get .ISO to work on my psp. I deleted all of my psp games cause they are mostly sports and im not into those kind of game. If I try buying from the psp store I will basically make my gpsp not useable. I basically have no idea with the parts but i'll just try to convert this disc image, thx anyway. I also got this umd_data.bin from the .iso.rar. I dunno there's a reason why i hate archives.

Right click the first rar in that picture in the top left not the little icon pic of the screen but the one next to it find the winrar sub menu in the list of things that comes up and click extract here it will automatically combine all the numbered rar files. Boom done and you will have your disc img.

The folder I extracted contains the file i specified.
What do you mean by first part? Is it a single file (.rar) or multiple .rar files?

I ended up getting confused with the hash calculator so I used CRC SHA but yes CRC32 matches.
