It's been pretty hectic. Worked all night Friday and was supposed to hang out with my Mom on Saturday. Which we did. Except it turned out that we ended up watching my brother while she went to the hospital for some awful pain and ended up having some minor surgery. Brought him to GameStop and let him pick out a little Skylanders dude, proceeded to get taught all about how they work while I lamented that he didn't know the names of Venusaur or Squirtle off the top of his head but remembered all the new ones.
My husband is pretty awesome. We don't usually do much in the way of presents because we never know what to get for each other. Friday before work though, I got a fancypants Keurig machine. I'd been looking at them forever but didn't want to spend the money. And we got home after a long day on Saturday I found a package on the doorstep. He'd ordered me DVDs of My Neighbor Totoro and Ponyo, as well as Majora's Mask 3D.
My Dad also ordered me an awesome Tauntaun plushie that came on Friday while he was out of town.
I'm still super tired and today is also Divine Mercy Sunday which is a little more important, but all in all must say I'm pleased~
EDIT: I also forgot to mention that husband was also at the shop all morning Friday getting a new alternator put in and updating the inspection. And still managed to go out and find presents.
