I just followed a trophy guide on playstationtrophies iirc Like I said the mp is boring but not hard. The only AC mp I ever found to be annoying was Revelations, but I've heard Brotherhood is the same sort of thing (only played that title on 360 though and never touched online stuff).

Can't say I blame you really. I've generally always liked shoujo/romance stuff too because the writing is usually decent and it avoids all the garbage fan service and sketchy shit you find in a lot of other anime.

The mp isn't hard, and it definitely isn't a long grind compared to games that are genuinely hard and actually do involve a stupid amount of grinding.
I left mp until last after finishing all the sp stuff, and played a little each day for a while. I started playing at least another game around the same time because it's just boring.
Even if you boosted it would be boring, actually more so but it would shorten the time involved.
