Red face Burning PSX games with .wav files.

    Hi,

sorry dont know where to post this.

having a problem with burning ps1 one games with wav files included. ive followed all the instructions. Thanks Zorlan, a great help. ive tried to load a cue with 2 separate games on imgburn and nero.

with image burn on both games it says that track 2 the first wav file doesnt exist, which it does and ive checked the cue. and they do contain all the wave files. with nero it doesnt load the wavs for ridge racer, just the bin and with dead or alive it seems to but it goes well over its size about 3000meg.

    can anyone help. Thanks

I've moved your post to a new thread, the thread where you posted was too old.

    hi Zorlon.

ive done it a different way using PakkISO which turned everything into a bin file and that works no problem with image burn. with the ntsc games ive ended up using a scart to rgb instead of phono to rgb which gives me colour but it doesnt look right it seems to have a bluey and green look to it. is their a better solution maybe a better lead, the one i used was from a gamars vcd card that has a vcd/game switch.

just as well because some games will just break if you patch them or just go out of sync that is just as bad and can also cause a random crashes due to that

    just get a better SCART

A Good SCART produces the best quality SD image possible the only better displays are HD

    i bought one of these.

their is a switch on the rgb part that alternates between game and dvd, the dvd side plays an ntsc game in perfect colour but squashes the picture down, flicking the switch back to game the image returns to normal size but is in black and white. any ideas why the picture is being squashed when i try to play the game in colour.

It's correcting the display I would guess I would need to see it for myself to judge though
