Of course, the lady I was taking care of when I injured it is probably dead now, so there's that.

Related: I have the really bad habit of sleeping on something shittily or being in a really shitty position when I really get into a game competitively (generally multi-player only) and it has caused problems from time to time. Generally nothing too bad. I've learned that no matter what I should make a conscious effort to get up/shift around every 10 minutes to avoid problems.

I just have a chronic problem of sleeping poorly, so tossing and turning and taking forever to get to sleep. Even if sometimes I half realize that I'm in a bad position in the long run, if I feel like I might actually be close to sleeping I'll do it anyway.

I need to move about also from time to time. My upper back/neck gets sore, or my knees since my preferred sitting position is cross legged, and I have bad knees anyway.

How have you been lately injury aside? Today was pretty good for me. Gonna call around metal scrap places and see who offers the best rate. Hoping to be able to get a new monitor with that paper.

I also hit up a store closing today. Unfortunately it kind of sucked. It was one location out of three in town and they just moved all the video games to other locations. Picked up some decent deals on dvd stuff but nothing amazing. Was aiming to spend a lot when I was thinking there would be games, only ended up spending around $35.

I realise I am such a damn vulture. But what better do I have to do with my weekends?

Join the bad knees club. I'm a charter member. In highschool is when I found out when I was lifting a lot and everything else was good/progressing but OH GOD SQUATTING WITH WEIGHTS OH MY GOD MY KNEEEEEEES. *goes to doctor* Doctor: you have shitty knees. Names a condition I have since forgotten. You'll have to live with it. I am. The end.

I generally get good sleep but sometimes I sleep on top of my arm and shit like that because tossing and turning in my sleep. For whatever reason my bedroom is sealed kind of poorly so sometimes when it gets reaaaaally cold or hot I have to go to the den (or w/e you want to call it) and sleep on my futon.

I'm doing okay, just the same old complaints about being tired and hurty.

Finally started to go through all the nonsense to change my name on Monday, got my new ID and SS card on Friday. Now I'm having trouble getting all these things I'm supposed to fax to people to actually go through on the other side. So obnoxious.

My RCIA class is over at the end of April, so I'm hoping I'll be able yo adjust my schedule after that, and stop being so horribly zombified all the time. Who knows.

All in all, I really don't have much to complain about, and I should really be thankful for practically everything in my life. A little sleep deprivation is a mild suffering. Although I read the other day that Saint Catherine of Siena said that overcoming her need for sleep was one of the hardest things she'd ever done, much higher than super rigorous fasts and physical pain. So I don't feel so bad about getting a little grumpy sometimes.

Also, thinking of buying things reminded me I need some new work clothes. One pair of pants should run me about 35 bucks, so you faired better than I will.

Yeah, I haven't bothered with docs, I figure it's just some kind of arthritic thing and I'll need new ones eventually. /dread

I sleep much better in a cool room. Refrigerate me so I can snuggle with these blankies please.

Of course I also share my bed so if one of us is sleeping poorly so must the other.

I've always needed extra layers to sleep. Generally 2. Usually comforter + something else. I have this huge afghan that usually does the trick. My cat loooooooves that thing. It's super huge, I don't even think I can really quantify how big it is easily. It's bigger than my bed though. It has to be bone-chilling for me to need to switch rooms. Since I basically require the layers to sleep in the summer I end up sleeping with less close and have to switch rooms more often generally.

Wiki link was included for anyone wondering what I'm talking about and to know I'm not being weirdly racist or something.

If it happened when I was older I likely wouldn't have gone, but of course at the time my gym teacher and parents were worried. I don't remember the term because it was 12 years ago and it's not very serious overall. I just can't lift extremely heavy things.

    Glad to hear it.

Overall I sleep very well, and I'm basically on a fairly rigid schedule. Always get to sleep before midnight, always up before 8 am. Usually getting in the 7-8 hour range.
