OK seriously, what the hell is going on with SNES prices? This is getting ridiculous.

Who on earth is paying this kind of money?

    ebay prices.

They've gotten ridiculous as of late on some stuff. That's why I do a good amount of my purchasing through forums nowadays. Though I'm not at all surprised at the price on the Super Metroid though. That one's been steadily going up in price, especially CIB.

I didn’t realise Metroid had shot up so much. I’ve had mine since I was a kid, but I check prices every so often out of curiosity and it’s double what it was last time I looked. :/ Ditto for Kirby - guess that one was a wise purchase back in the day when EB were blowing them out for £9.99.

I’m just amazed those listings sold. I thought SNES had peaked a couple of years ago but everything just keeps going up and up. Even N64’s starting to get ridiculous. I saw CIB copies of Goldeneye and Majora’s Mask go for £50 and £100 the other day. Even a cart only copy of Smash Bros is £50 too. Madness.

THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

Yeah, I keep hearing from people who theorize that eventually the bubble will pop, like what happened with comic collecting. I think they're just hoping and praying for the return of cheap games. Everything is going up, even stuff that was once common is going up in price. Though most of it is inflated ebay prices.

    Holy cow.

I just logged in to make my nightly stab at Roxas, and I see I need to go to the store.

    Yes.

I almost bit on some shmups recently. Did end up buying Namco Museum Vol 5 for $25 shipped which is pretty good.

This is how I feel basically every time I check SCD/Saturn values.

My two cents? The bubble will pop sooner or later but it’s mostly going to affect cart only prices. They’ll plummet severely and likely stay there in most cases. CIB copies on the other hand will drop maybe 20% depending on the game, then they’ll start to climb again.

Makes me so glad that I jumped on that MUSHA I got a couple years back. That's a really good price, lowest CIB on ebay is triple that.

Haha, yeah that Snatcher/Panzer Dragoon Saga eh?
