The Boredlands-Out: Bite and don't let it go (EXPLOSIONS)

#1 I know that sometimes people find it something hard to do, BUT!
Never say ''I don't think it's possible''.
In pretty much everything in life, there's no worst, and most effective enemy to defeat you, than yourself.
Sell yourself short, later on you might regret it.

#2 No such thing as too much sand for your truck.
This is a fact.

I guess it's possible, but there are a few smaller factors that need to be mentioned.

1.) Out of about 100 some odd employees there are only 4 people in our age range (18-22).

One works second shift, the other is also a coop and I'm just a lab guy.

2.)I pretty much ignored her existence for the first week or two she was working there since I found it much more impossible to joke around with an attractive female my age than the coop she replaced who was pretty chill.

3.)She could of just been being nice on the whole "Sitting next to me at lunch and instantly starting a conversation", topics being discussed: Where we lived, How I was liking my job, when she left the last time she was a coop, and then we got a bit interrupter. This was odd since we rarely had talked or anything beforehand only in group lab centered discussions. I'm probably not all that approachable since I'm horrible at being social and am probably known that way, despite coming out of my shell recently somewhat.

4.) She has a shit load of the older guys joking around in a flirty way with her who are much more attractive than me.

5.) The staring situation today really made this possibility a bit more real, since it was extremely unexplainable. I've never had someone just stare at me while working like that with no other obvious reason to be staring in my direction(although I doubt it was at me)

6.) I obviously have self confidence issues. These are caused by the fact I didn't leave my house for nearly 3 years in a row cutting off contact with all my friends because I had some serious issues and scarring from a past experience.


I think I'm over thinking this possibility.

You are talking to a guy, who spent pretty much 4~5 years in Africa, with no power during about 3 of those years, wasn't allowed to be with friends, or make any due to ''family position'', AND my whole life there fluctuated around having money, to having absolutely nothing to eat, and whatever I actually got to eat, I left it to my brothers.
So you see, more than enough reasons to let myself down when I returned to Europe, and think of myself as worthless/powerless.
Which isn't the case.
Picked myself up, and that made me the man I'm today.
SO.
No excuses.
You just gotta find the drive for it.

Even though she's an attractive female, she's still a person.
One of the things that hinders you is that.

Sometimes I tend to ignore people unintentionally, if I realize I ignored her, or she points it out, I joke about it, then conversation issues.
Relax when talking.

I guess I shouldn't be pessimistic but I've never been in a situation like this before. It's extremely odd and I don't show this one much in person as people also comment about how I'm always happy at work. I mean, it's just odd and this new situation really doesn't help much, although I would enjoy if it were true. I'm not sure if my friends are exaggerating the potential of these being signs or not.
