Except you can drown your Sims, can't do that in Harvest Moon.

Oh there is a story and all that, the game does end but once the story is over you can still play the game, almost all harvest moon games are like that, like in Tree of Tranquility and Animal Parade you can continue the game as your grown up son or daughter , they are very entertaining games.

Rune factory is like harvest moon but with fighting monsters and bosses, You really should give Rune Factory 3 and Tides of Destiny a try, those are really bitchen.

You really gotta try Tides of Destiny, its only $20 bones on amazon new, very awesome game, more exploration, less farming, and the first day of summer..........best day in the game
