WIXOSS was sweet. I loved the art direction and the weird horror techno thing the score started going for. If you want to see the lesser show from the same writer, see M3, which is the most obtuse thing I've seen in awhile.

I have to watch a week behind, so I'm looking forward to Tokyo Ghoul and Hamatora's second season. This season looks like a real "eh" one to me, but I suspect there may be a few surprises. Planning to watch quite a bit, like I usually do, because I'm aiming to make a living as a critic and I can't be too picky about what I watch.

Black Bullet had an amazing first episode IMO, and then like nothing happens afterward, no good fights, just talking with the little girl.
Blade and Soul, loved the concept, but yeah show was really boring in a lot of parts
M3, I feel like there is so much build up to nothing with this show
Mekakucity Actors, definitely needed more episodes
No Game No Life, best of season for me
WIXOSS, I hated this, it takes a lot for me to not finish a show
Irregular at Magic High School, a lot of build up in this show as well, but it is fun to watch Tatsuya just show how strong he is.

Yeah this season does look weak, I think I pinned 4 to watch, and I was stretching to get 4.

Black Bullet really fell apart there. It's like twenty different anime in a blender, but none of them fit together right. I'm still not sure which premise the show was centered around most, or if it even had a center beyond creepy loli service.

My hatred for Mahouka is mostly because it represents a ton of ideals I personally hate. Look up some of the events in the light novels; they straight up have China commit genocide on Japan in nearly the same way (and even naming) as a similar offense Japan did to China in real life. Plus, all the imperialistic and objectivism garbage, suggesting that oppression is a necessity, and just how sheer unlikable the main two characters are. The guy is as interesting as a piece of balsa wood, while his sister has a personality entirely defined by being obsessed with her brother and nothing else besides being really perfect (it must run in the family).

It's basically wish fulfillment in the most empty, disgusting form. The magic tech premise is wasted on that series.

Yes to the first, and yeah I have to agree with the 2nd as well. Tatsuya just like stands there, and his sister gawks at him 90% of the show.
