Sly 1 is cool. Sly 2 and 3 are kinda tedious. Sly 4 isn't bad and looks great (at least for those like me who like cell shading graphics).
The worst part of the series are the dull missions (retrieve 6 of this or 5 of that.. feels like a chore) and the terrible minigames and it's clunky controls.
Summarizing, I love playing with Sly, not with the other characters![]()
Actually in this case I think it's a big deal that he left the project because he'd been trying to bring it to the screen for almost 5 years, and he was writing it as well as directing - he has a quirky sense of humor and I think he would have brought a lot to the movie.
You are right though, the movie is what matters, but I know absolutely nothing about Ant Man and having Wright attached to it is what made me want to see it.
I'm very perceptive
Same here. I think I only have GT6 %))))))) in my to play list.
Not saying that it's not going to be a great loss, that's something that we'll never know. What I meant is that I care for the projects as a whole, not really a fan of directors, castings or any other element involved in a movie per se individually considered. If the final result is good I'll be satisfied regardless of other considerations. But definitely, when things like these happen, it's never a good sign..
That reminds me, I still don't own GT6 yet. It's still not cheap enough in my opinion.![]()
