Then you're missing the real allure of Diablo!
There's a stupid amount of side quests and things you can only do when you get yourself really powerful, and besides making multiple runs on the game is actually much quicker than you may think - especially when you have a wrecking ball crew travelling with you.

You should give it a shot though - did you play the other two games?

Tried the first. Got real bored doing nothing but clicking on enemies. Don't remember much else to it. Didn't bother with the second because of that.

Diablo 1 and 2 are totally different games. Diablo 1 is like, a concept. You travel all over the world and meet people and there's an actual story and just....it's fucking cool. Don't let one game put you off of a fantastic series. Especially if you have friends who play it. cough*

There was no auction house in it yet when I played. Like I said, I got it on launch day back in, uh... 2012, and finished it in a few days.

Btw did they ever patch in that PvP mode? I remember being bummed out that it wasn't included at launch.

Nah, they never did patch in that PvP as far as I know. When it first came out the real money auction house wasn't working, but I'm pretty sure the regular gold only one was. Either way, they completely nixed both of them and raised the drop rates.

The AH was there from the start and the RMAH was put in later. I quit when they added the RMAH. PVP was added much later but it is fucking garbage because it's just wizzes running around throwing snowballs. No one plays pvp.
