So what does these two Display Adapters mean?
Does it have two display adapters? The Intel one and the AMD?
But why the AMD Radeon one not shown in the Advanced Settings in "Chip Type" but Intel is shown instead.

From the bit of googling I've done, it seems there should be an option to actually either manually switch between the two (you can only use one at once) or to switch between them automatically when you run certain games/programs. The idea is that the lower-end one (the Intel one in this case) will be enabled for regular use and the AMD one will be enabled for games. Honestly this is something the man selling the laptop should be able to explain better, but that seems to be the basic idea.
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

    hello again,
my question now, which one is better at emulating PS2 games?
    My current i3 M380 2.5GHz TOSHIBA or that i7-4500U 1.8GHz Dell?
Are both the same or the dell is a little bit better?

    Hello,
I took a screenshot of Windows Experience Index for that Dell.

This is Windows Experience for my current TOSHIBA i3:

And this is Windows Experience for the Dell:

So which one is better at emulating PS2?

To be honest you will not see that much between them

For what you are willing to pay you might as well just buy a PS2 instead of using emulators that are far from complete, the PS2 is easy enough to mod with software

    Mod projects - XBOX
Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1 & 2 - online quests in offline mode packs [COMPLETE]
    [Quest Packs Collection]
GTA San Andreas - Hot Coffee [COMPLETE]
[Mod ready] & [Full ISO ready]
GTA San Andreas - Real Car Names extra content mod [WIP] [Back burner, just won't have the time ]

PS2 emulation takes a mighty beefy PC, I just recently got into PSP emulation using PPSSPP and gotta say it runs 100x better than PCSX2 on my old heap.

Most games are fully playable with some having the occasional hiccup since the emulation is far from perfect but most are very playable running at full speed, very well written emulator that is just going to get better and better.

Give it a try and see if you can run it since PSP is basically a handheld PS2.

In terms of single threaded performance, the i5 4500 U is MUCH better than the M 380 which is based on the ancient Arrandale architecture. My last laptop had that exact same CPU and it struggled with about 50 % of the PS2 games, otherwise it was okayish.
BUT, as already mentioned a couple of times, that CPU is not designed to perform heavy tasks and has a very low base clock speed. It turbo boosts to 2,4 Ghz but won't be able to maintain it for a long time due to overheating.

And no, PSP is not a handheld PS2, it has a much less complex architecture which is easier to emulate on a x86-device than the PS2 with its insane custom architecture. That's why you can run PPSSSPP on many strong android devices with playable speeds while PCSX2 has much higher system requirements.

You seemed to of missed the boat on my point, the Graphics and such are just like the PS2's just like the GBA in a way a handheld SNES, never said they WERE exactly the same, Why do you think you see so many PS2 ports on the PSP eh?

Default Emulating Wii and that Dell i7

    Hello,
Now I know that emulating PCSX2 might work on that dell but will overheat it overtime.
    Now what about emulating dolphin?

Will it be better then emulating pcsx2 or the same?

I'm going to say no about overheating, neither uses enough power to even overexert just a 2.00 Ghz i7.
However, to be about 99.999% sure, we still need specs.
That i7 may be an i7, but if that graphics card is an Intel, have fun trying to run either emulator at full power.
At best, it would just run at 80% without skipping, and the lowest resolution possible.

It would of been best just to stick to your original thread BlackCitadel

I will merge this then everyone will know what dell you are talking about, there are many i7 chip sets out there not just the one

Edit:- going to move this to the Computer Corner

I hope you get some good advice there

Actually, if overheating is your concern, Dolphin tends to stress laptops more heavily. Just read some threads at the official Dolphin forums, they almost always advice to get gaming laptops, primarily not because of superior specs, but due to dual heat sinks - one each for CPU and GPU.
As for the actual performance, it will net you similar speeds to PCSX2. But Dolphin has also a fair share of games that require a much better system, like Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy or The Last Story.
