RE: Revelations

Not bad. Feels more like the classic Resi's. Not a fan of that scanner thing though. Breaks up the gameplay a bit but not quite as obtrusive as in Batman which is the reason why I have a hard time getting into that. But RE is a slower game.

Also finally optimized Dead Island. Killed the bloom and lowered a few things that aren't to important visually but for some reason steal a lot of processing power. I have a habit of just kicking everything. Fuck weapons
Just finishing off some sides then on to chapter 3.

Hey, glad you like RE:R, Zal. The scanner is kinda stupid but you get used to it after a while.

I'm playing FFXIV and enjoying it quite a bit so far. It's the best looking MMO I've ever played and the world feels far more alive and natural than in other games. I also like how it basically plays like a single player RPG (or an online version of FFXII with other people running around ) with proper cutscenes and voice acting and such, it makes me actually read all the story and quest descriptions, which is something I *never* do in MMOs. The fact that I could switch to Japanese voices in story cutscenes is just the icing on the cake. Only complaint is the anti-social nature of everyone in the game. I've been playing for hours and NO ONE talks in general chat. Everyone just keeps to their inner circles, which is super lame.

And I finished Dead Space 3 finally (too lazy to post in the other thread), what a medicore mess of a game this was. The beginning was nice, and so were the final few chapters, but everything in the middle is just one huge meh filler. And of course, they did the usual practice of having the real ending in the DLC while giving us a shitty non-conclusion in the main game. Disgusting. Fuck this game and fuck this company.

Man it felt good letting all that out!

I'm a slightly disappointed but that's okay. I just accepted a random invite I got and it turned out to be a pretty good bunch of people so I stuck with them.

Worry not though, I might try rolling another character on Phoenix just to get a feel for both servers. I merely heard Odin was the bigger English community which is why I chose that.

Don't worry I think I'll survive... somehow. But if you do make another character give me poke and we'll have some fun! There's also a super slim chance that we may get together by using the duty finder.

The only thing I've heard about the other servers is that Shiva sucks ass. So avoid that one...

Well PM me your character name first and I'll poke you when I'm around. I did roll a new char on Phoenix, I was slightly dissatisfied with my regular human and wanted to try a catgirl, anyway.

Yeah I know about the potion but I was only like Lv8 with my hooman so rerolling wasn't a big deal at all. And I wanna save that potion for when Viera become playable. A man can dream.

I would so play as a Viera given the option but the odds of SE adding new races is pretty low. A Garlean maybe but yeah don't think so, they are just like humans but have 3 eyes...

Eh, yeah I'm still playing XIII-2, could have beaten the final boss ages ago (this game sure is easy) but I'm wasting some time trying to get every single monster.
