The GO.
That was an unmitigated disaster, wasn't it?
What was wrong with the 1000? At least the screen looked great on it.... I briefly had a 3000 and it was dark and muted, and had nasty scan lines running through it. I think my old GameGear had a better display than that thing.
Let me put it this way Sprung was the only person I knew irl or online that had a Go. Haha.
Maybe you had a bad 3000? 2000 is basically better than the 1000 in every way. I don't really have experience with 3000s but the specs are in line with the 2000 I thought.
OLED is suicidal so I'm looking into getting a model 2 Vita.
Ooookay clearly I know nothing about 3000s. Love my 2000 model though.
Load times on the 1000 can realllllly be atrocious to where some games are almost unplayable, that's a lot of it for me flava.
All the DS ones were fine imo. But the GBA ones were just some ultra win. PSP port of Rondo is pretty great as well.
Yeah, fair enough. A friend of mine had the 1000 back in the early days and I never had an issue with the load times, but that's probably because we never used UMD's. He had everything firmware modded and ripped games to his memory stick, so everything was pretty swell for the most part.
The 3000's were all known to have a lousy display, and they were also so light that they just felt cheap as shit too.

I liked the hell out of Rondo of Blood. Maybe Castlevania should be like 2D for the rest of its games, no one would complain after what Lords of Shadow done to the franchise. I mean sure, it had some bad games, but not games you'd call it a nail to the franchise's coffin. Then came Lords of Shadow, idk, maybe it's just me on that one.
