I've had shingles twice (that I know of anyway). Once I had it with pneumonia as well.
I've had pneumonia quite a few times in my life.

I used to get tonsillitis/strep throat every year around March. Then it finally stopped for some reason. I had it so bad one year that the infection went up the tubes and I had a double ear infection as well. I think my tonsils finally gave up.

Had asthma a lot after that, but it hasn't bothered me at all since I was around 20-25.

I don't remember when I had them, but I remember when my daughters did. I rolled them up in blankets and rolled them back and forth on the floor to 'itch' them without scratching.

I remember a lot of oatmeal baths, and calamine

Damn man, you must have been bed-ridden for a while with that double-dose. How long did it take for you to recover?

I've luckily never had pneumonia. Though that's pretty much what killed my grandma.
