Well, that's a matter of preference really, as I've seen quite a few people who didn't like it. I think there was a conversation in the anime thread with Gare and Elin I contributed to a while back.
If you like nerdy stuff, you'll like it though. There's a lot of quote dropping from philosophers and classic literature, and even economists, and the show kinda points a satirical finger at the herd mentality of modern civilization.

Beyond that stuff, it's an interesting crime story with a serial killer who grooms other serial killers in a faux utopian sci-fi setting, so if that sounds good, go for it. (you may have to get past some of the animation though, because the lead is some kind of parody moe or something, and she looks kinda silly)

I'm pretty easy to please when it comes down to entertainment. This sounds like what I'm in the mood for right now. Would you say it's a really dark series? Similar to Denpa Teki na Kanojo if you've seen it?
