Is anyone else having trouble with changing their avatar?
I think I peaked at around 30 Grey bricks. By this time I was already on my way out of the scene and into the next. Basically, I no longer mod things. I am tired of being a simple minded "fixer" and have my sights set on creation and inventing. I still have a whole load of Grey shells, but many of the parts and accessories have been traded away for other items of interest.
That is correct. You've never seen the amount of butthurt that Chipmusic.org shared when I announced that. We have a handful of kids crying about intellectual property rights and programmers saying that it is immoral...then on the other hand we have people sending me free gifts and support along with the owner of the site, who may hold the very highest seat in the gameboy scene, sharing his own support and arguing with my offenders! As soon as he spoke everyone literally STFU right away. I still keep my user title that someone called me from that argument.![]()
I have the schematic and a board layout, shy of a few traces, and I have the ROM image. All we need mow is the custom mapper stored on the PIC and we will be golden. The only problem is that the fuses are set for locking the code. My anonymous mentor/helper/supplier of goods has sent it to some chic in China who has broken into locked PIC chips for him before. unfortunately that cost him $350. Once we break even, then the code, notes, and schematics will be shared freely.
I feel like Robin hood and am calling myself a black hat.
Doom.
