I was able to not love that everybody called him either Rhine or Ryan.
As for the dub, it was well done, but some of the colloquilisms were. . .excessive. I used to think it adorable every time my British friend said "let's get you sorted out," when helping me with something. By the end of Xenoblade I fucking HATED the phrase. I still suffer from an involuntary twitch every time I hear "sort" and "out" in the same sentence, because it was said in that game at three times for every little sidequest.




I posted a blog on MAL bitching about the state of anime a year ago. To think it actually gets worse with each season. I don't even trust Urobuchi anymore after that travesty that was Gargantia.

This is why I've converted almost fully to visual novels. The VN world has its share of garbage as well but at least there's stuff that interests me.

Oh, Gargantia was bad? Or just too fanservice-heavy for your liking? (I've seen gifs of those belly dancing scenes, hot damn ) Eh, I'm still gonna check it out probably.

Also I hear Urobuchi + Nitroplus is making a new movie called Expelled from Paradise, looks like this and hopefully it won't suck.
