    Gundemonium and GundeadliGne

I was giving both of these a go and the end result was this: OTZ

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. Great game and a accurate deconstruction of the Mons games out there (I'm looking at you Pokemon).
My first MegaTen game and it's absolutely fantastic. I'm tempted to play through each installments consecutively.

The first boss in Deus Ex Human Revolution was absolutely ridiculous. If I hadn't checked online I wouldn't have found out you're expected to use explosive barrels against him, because it's next to impossible to even get to the damn things without getting mowed down. Even when I knew what I had to do, it still took me 10-15 tries.

I'm not considering returning this game.
    I'm considering burning it.

I never got the uproar about Human Revolutions' boss battles. Sure, they're silly 1-on-1 fights, but it's a minor part of an otherwise very good game.

I don't remember having much difficulty with them, either, and I wasn't using a guide. That first one I just shotgunned to death, maybe threw some grenades and that was it, I might have died 2 or 3 times but hardly the 20+ times people are saying.

I just spammed that ground punch thing over and over. Worked a treat for me the two times I beat it.

    Excellent game.

I tried the shotgun to the face method the first few times, by dancing around a pillar with him, squeezing shots off in the .005 milliseconds between gatling fire, but he'd always manage to grab me (insta kill) or get a clean line of fire (practically insta-kill), or throw grenades I couldn't outrun (insta-kill) after surviving like 10 blasts, so I finally checked google for tips.
It's probably easier if you have good physical augs, but I've put most of my points into hacking skills, because, in classic PC game fashion, the game puts all its story in the stuff you pick up along the way. Also, hacking everything is a good way to get XP.

Overall, I personally find the game as overrated as the first one. Both good games, to be sure, but not the Olympian heights of gaming godliness. Granted, I prefer games that are more plot heavy.

My biggest complaint is really that I suck at it. I should probably be playing on easy, but it's not my fault there's no decided industry standard for game challenge (though they get points for calling it "challenging" rather than normal). I wind up loading way too often because I'm aiming for a stealth game, but it's too damn easy to get spotted when taking people down. . . and firefights are a bad idea when it only takes like three bullets to kill you.

Sorry, Theo I just noticed your post. Yeah, I haven't played any of them, if my basic items/weapons are no obstacle to beat them, we could give it a try when you want.

Yup, HR is a fantastic game.
Far Cry 3 co-op is just 5 maps where you have standard equipment. Not related to the story mode.

Cool, then I'll be the only obstacle to beat them

    They're very simple missions!
I don't think 3 people can play them, I'd love to join in too! But nevermind.

I think the online missions are up to 4 players (2 for local coop?). I remember 4 players in the E3 conference when they first showed it.

Oh really? That's interesting. They're all extremely straight forward. There would be no troubles with any of us finishing them.

I had a crack on one of the missions on a public game. Took about 20 minutes. You could probably do these all on public by yourself if you fancy doing them at any point (can't guarantee we'll be on at the same time)

Played a bit of RE: Revelations. Pretty cool so far. Seems like it mixes the combat system of RE4 with the atmosphere of the oldschool RE games.
