I recently stumbled across the fact in the U.K it's 16. Mostly because the 30 year old owner of a site was arguing that him dating a 16 y/o was no where close to pedophilia because she was legal. He found her because she posted on his site for a while before she turned 16..

Hell, 16 or 17 might actually be legal in my state now...I really don't know

I do know that there are "lower" and "upper" minimums. The upper one is when the older person is in a position of power iirc.
But for most average folk it's just the lower one you have to worry about.
