Oh,I'm sorry. It's good to see you though.I'm good.
I don't know much about horror games, because kenjutsuka are physically incapable of fear,
*sees spider*
but I've read that White Day is the best of the genre. Evidently it throws more creepy shit at you the higher you put the difficulty.
Also, I've been recommending Saya no Uta to people in the mood for Halloween themed reading. Only VN I've ever finished. . . and it is fucked the fuck up. FUCK.
Corpse party for the psp. It's disturbing.
I've encountered a lot of people who play JRPGs without interest in the language. Some even encouraged me to start playing games before my nihongo was up to snuff. Just for the pretty colors, I guess?
But yeah, don't get me started on Sen. Falcom and Monolith are the only developers I still care about, and now one is selling out with high school mini skirt moe crap. The next Brandish will be a dating sim at this rate.

Just watched the movie "Stranded". What a horrible piece of garbage.
If people who don't mind other cliff hanger endings didn't like it, I can only imagine it's either contrived, or anticlimactic. Meaning an ass-pull "WTF ~THE END~ NEENER NEENER" or it ends half way through the climax, or something: "This endboss is too powerful for us; we can't possibly win!" *Credits*
But yeah, I don't mind moe in moderation; hell, I loved Chuunibyou, and I tend to go for real-life--kittenish-- variants. . . but the trope-cesspool anime has fallen into has gotten a bit too deep.
I don't doubt it still has Kiseki-worthy characters and plot. . . but I've developed a gag reflex for some of those tropes, and I fear it's the beginning of a Falcom trend.
The next game could well be a harem.
I'm sorry Sprung.

THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.
