The phrase 頷けるものがある is used when you want to say something along the lines of "I can see why that would be the case/I can understand that/there is a certain level of reason in it"... right? At least that's how I've always interpreted it when I saw it in sentences.

Also I swear FF is the only horror game series that genuinely makes me feel uneasy when I play it. As much as I like RE and Silent Hill I've never found them all that scary.

Fatal Frame didn't scare me scare me, but it unsettled me a little, and that's a big achievement when I've never really found games to be scary at all. I like horror games, but something about having complete control over a character and having the power to make them do really dumb things at will kills the tension for me. :'D Was surprised and pleased that FF had any sort of effect over me at all.
