But man on woman violence is wrong because loads of assholes in the real world beat women and there's plenty of women that have to deal with the after effects of that.

Because no man has ever been abused by a man or a woman and we can't just pretend that this is all victimless fiction and should not be taken as a breeding ground for propaganda or civil engineering.

Furthermore, if you put in a man attacking women it glorifies it.

So, then, what does making it so that a woman can beat a man all day without any sort of physical repercussions (because a man hurting a woman is a no-no) do?

It makes every female character into superman. This cannot go anywhere good.

Meanwhile, none of that kickstarter money goes to women's shelters or providing legal council to battered wives. If she throws up some ads through youtube that money goes right into her pocket and funding trips to speak at pro-feminist events and such.

Part of the reason that anecdote came to my memory is something that happened at work.

I'm standing around running down the clock when some dude runs in the store yelling some shit superfastandyoucan'tgetwhathe'ssayingbecauseitallr unstogether. Then he gets closer and I see that the guy has the lower part of his face severely fucked up. I point him towards the pharmacy and try to figure out what the fuck I just saw. Long story short, the guy was at the bars and bummed a smoke from some random guy. When he lit it, the thing exploded in his face, apparently it was loaded with gunpowder and soaked in lighter fluid, which quickly splashed over his face and caused further incineration. His goatee went up in flames and his face got one hell of a singeing (looked like serious first degree, possibly some second degree under the chin).

I always avoided smoking because I figured it's going to blow up in my face sooner or later. I just didn't think shit could get so literal.
