    Unhappy PSone motherboard repairs

Just like the title says I need to repair the motherboard on my scph- 101 slim psone I had as a kid 5-7 I broke the case and was trying to take the thing out so my dad could glue the top where it indents back on and before you all ask what I did I had it on a 5 foot dresser with some of the drawers out and I tripped over the controller cord it hit 2 of the drawers and then the bedpost. When I tried to remove the board from the bottom that had gum from the dresser in the vents I tried removing the board to use a screw driver to poke the gum out but the board was stuck and being a kid I just tried pulling harder and broke the player one port pins would taking bits of a paper clip in the holes where the pins went and re-soldier them to the board work or em I just f***ed was going to use second modchip in it and give it to my brother's kids.

Changed the title as there is no such thing as a Playstation Slim it was just called a PSone and the others are known as a Playstation, it even has PSone on the pad and lid instead of Playstation.

I would just replace the whole unit to be honest, or buy a none working PSone for parts and use it for parts

On a side note is ceramic paint sealer safe to use on my ps1 will it cause any heat issues? Just painted both old and psone cases black like yaroze don't want paint coming off from fingernails and other consoles.

I would of thought so if heat does not effect the sealer and the sealer is not going to melt plastic

Do that while the case has nothing in it and make sure it's dry before you put it back together

You can also use hair spray and old artist trick same thing though use that while the case has nothing in it, be careful you don't go over board though hair spray can melt plastic if it is soaked you only need a couple of light coats

The joys of hair spray is you can pick your finish I will let you figure that out, most are just glossy though

thanks I was just going to use it on the top half where my nails and class ring scratch the paint off and I was thinking of taking the top off and spray it.

I know your idea is a great one but alas I make only 103 a month right now and 60% goes landlords parents for rent only get maybe 24-30 to spend or save and amazon ebay both want 250-75 for either just the console or 351 for it with the lcd screen.
So I was thinking if I fixed the controller port 1 so my brother's kids could use the console [I figured out the no power prob the input is loose at the third solider point] so still will removing it from the board opening the plastic compartment replace broken pins with pieces of really small office clips cut to right size and resolidered it will it work? If not then I'll try my sister's broken psone parents bought one for each remove the port from it and put it in the one for my niece and nephew to use will it work? yes or no.
And no I can't just fix her's the board itself is dark brown fried she somehow got silly puddy stuck in it and it overheated didn't help she spilled water on it when it was on zzzzzziiizz poof.
