Anyone interested in the PS Vita 'Slim & Light' or the PS Vita TV?![]()
Yes. But seeing as it is compatible with Dual Shock 4 it would be logical to assume that Sony will let the touchpad stand in for the Vita's various touch interfaces. Only time will tell. But as it stands now, any game that requires touch-based controls will not be supported.
im upset at sony, i was hoping for more colors, not a new vita with a different screen, i mean the games looked alot better with an oled screen! well psp games anyways.... i hope they dont phase out the bigger models......
I've already go a PS Vita but I like that they have different colours, I'm surprised they got rid of the 3G I thought they would make an LTE version, although I'm not sure how popular the 3G one was because mobile data isn't cheap, unless you're in Australia & have that $1 a day unlimited plan but I'm not sure if they do that any more. I wouldn't get Vita TV so much but I do think they should of had TV output on the PS Vita, the PSP had it.
I just looked up the VitaTV thing. Holy shit, I would buy that in a heartbeat provided it works the way that they are advertising. Still going to wait on some reviews, see what you need for storing games, etc -- if you still need the stupidly expensive Vita memory cards, that's a bit of a bummer.![]()
Yeah I know, especially since the VitaTV is suppose to be $100 or something, that means if you want to buy a decent sized memory card you'll have to pay more than what the console costs, that's why I was a bit reluctant on getting my Vita, I got a couple 4GB ones (because I have two PSN accounts, an NZ & US one) initially thinking that other companies like Sandisk might start making them at a decent price but it seems Sony's the only one that can make them. I eventually bought two 32GB because I most of my games for it are downloaded ones so I had to buy them.
Sony seem adamant the PS Vita Slim and Lite isn't coming to the West. I bet it does eventually though. Although I'll stick with my OLED screen, thank you!![]()
