Yes, but not sure which one. Probably getting a Vita this Christmas. Only downside with the Vita TV is that not all games will work. So might go for the Slim.

Not all games work? Is that those that require touch inputs? So basically it plays the PS Vita games that are just bad ports of PS3 games anyway?

Yes. But seeing as it is compatible with Dual Shock 4 it would be logical to assume that Sony will let the touchpad stand in for the Vita's various touch interfaces. Only time will tell. But as it stands now, any game that requires touch-based controls will not be supported.

If they improve the Vita TV compatibility I'd get get one.

The new Slim Vita will be good to compete with the 2DS if they cut the price a bit. But I already own a Vita so, definitely, not for me.

EDIT: oh, look, a new thread!

I've already go a PS Vita but I like that they have different colours, I'm surprised they got rid of the 3G I thought they would make an LTE version, although I'm not sure how popular the 3G one was because mobile data isn't cheap, unless you're in Australia & have that $1 a day unlimited plan but I'm not sure if they do that any more. I wouldn't get Vita TV so much but I do think they should of had TV output on the PS Vita, the PSP had it.

I just looked up the VitaTV thing. Holy shit, I would buy that in a heartbeat provided it works the way that they are advertising. Still going to wait on some reviews, see what you need for storing games, etc -- if you still need the stupidly expensive Vita memory cards, that's a bit of a bummer.

I'd imagine you'd need one to save/one for digital content. If you planned to play Vita games off the game cards, you'd get away with a 4GB Vita card I guess.

Yeah I know, especially since the VitaTV is suppose to be $100 or something, that means if you want to buy a decent sized memory card you'll have to pay more than what the console costs, that's why I was a bit reluctant on getting my Vita, I got a couple 4GB ones (because I have two PSN accounts, an NZ & US one) initially thinking that other companies like Sandisk might start making them at a decent price but it seems Sony's the only one that can make them. I eventually bought two 32GB because I most of my games for it are downloaded ones so I had to buy them.

Sony seem adamant the PS Vita Slim and Lite isn't coming to the West. I bet it does eventually though. Although I'll stick with my OLED screen, thank you!

However, Sony has told IGN that it's currently “considering every opportunity”, for the PS Vita 2000, although has “nothing to announce for the [Sony Computer Entertainment America] territory.”

Would you like to see the new PS Vita model released in the UK? Or are you happy with your OLED screen?

Ah okay. I see that more as a "to be announced" statement than anything else. Hopefully it or Vita TV will be released here this year. I want a Vita but I'm afraid of burn-ins...
