One of my fondest memories of owning an Xbox. I can't say that any of the tunes stand out in particular but the familiar system was nice.

That said, listening to song you posted, I remember every note.

I heard mixed things about Curse of Darkness, but I never played it myself... despite having a huge poster of it on my wall (with the same artwork that's in Theo's video)

It's actually decent. There's a familiar system in place for stat growth and stuff, and you craft weapons from materials. You don't get to play as a character with a whip until you beat the game first, but it isn't a halfass romp through the castle like most of the metroidvanias are. I'd say it's definitely worth a shot. Especially considering you can emulate it nowadays.

    Well.

It seems slamming my laptop in a raging fucking fury upon the table somehow made it read my HDD again.

    Good to know.
I'll put it in my "to play" list.

I'd recommend playing it. I find it slightly better than Lament of Innocence. I played it thinking it was going to be substandard but got hooked til the end The soundtrack and some of the characters really make the game a fun experience.
