The fucking map and waypoint system is bullshit. This is the fifth time I've tried to get to a location, only for it to lead me to a brick wall that's 20 feet away.

I seem to recall having a few problems with the waypoint in Sleeping Dogs as well actually. Though it was mostly in the ghost DLC thing I believe.

For the most part it's been pretty good, but if you set it for certain locations, like near certain docks or in certain parking lots, it takes you to the main entrance. There is then a building or a bay or a giant freaking wall between you and your destination, and you have to figure out how to get around. Usually not a big deal, but it's been a pain in the ass for certain timed objectives when you only have 20-30 seconds of spare time.

I still don't know how to properly get to the cockfight in North Point. My waypoint just takes me to a ferry terminal, then I jump into the water and swim the rest of the way.

That may be one you access later. If it's the one right next to a safehouse I think you get that one later, and it's actually hosted on the boat at the end of the dock. I used that spot to makes buckoo dolores.

Nah, it's not that one. This is one of the first ones you can get access to. You can only bet $500/$1000/$1500, etc. It's just an inaccurate waypoint system -- you can walk right up to it if you know where the entrance to that part is, there's nothing stopping you 'cept for maybe one group of three really easy gang members if you go the wrong way.

I think the one you're thinking of is the one where you can bet upwards of $100,000.

Yeah it was the really high betting. I didn't really experiment with chicken fighting since it was boring. I remember there's a guide on how to win most of the time somewhere that I used to make tons of cash though.

I've placed four bets and won three times. Suffice to say it's not that difficult. I'll probably end up there if I need money to buy everything after I've beaten the game, but not until then. It's incredibly boring to watch.

Yes there is. It's just not preinstalled. Go to google.com/chrome and download the .deb file.
