Default nullDc, .lst file, and blank. Whatup?

So, for a while today I've been trying to get Guilty Gear XX Accent Core to work on nullDC.

First I found a .dat file, and didn't know what to do with it.

Then I started reading about .lst files and possible .dat conversions, but I didn't get very far.

Then I found a fellow on youtube who had a video showing said game to be working in his nullDC emulator, so I asked him for the rom. He was nice enough to oblige, and the file he sent me access to was a zip file containing a .lst file, and a blank extension file (ggxxac.lst and ggxxac).

Anyone mind giving me some tips on how to get this working in nullDC?
If there's a thread that covers this already, a link to said thread would be most appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance for any tips/advice.

Zorlon knows a lot more about DC than I do but as I understand it that's a NAOMI game which is the arcade board SEGA made. You're going to need the correct emulator like this one Sounds like you have the right files though. And you're also going to need the Naomi bios as well and put it in the data folder which I'm looking for now.

Looks like they're in the mamebios pack here

Okay, I'll work on this and see what results I get.
    Thanks for the input.

I'll get back when I have something to report.

Nice. So, I got a bios file from that set you linked. There are a bunch, but I just nabbed the japanese one that was referenced in the readme file that came with the nulldc naomi emulator. I've gotten Guilty Gear XX Accent Core to run, but I'm having really buggy sound so I'll continue to investigate.

    Awesome!

Looks like my main problem was using the nullDC naomi emulator linked in this thread. I downloaded the latest version, and all is working great now.
I'm going to experiment with the different bios files and see what I get.

Thanks for the bios link, btw, super helpful. Also, your general input was a big help.

This is a big addition to my arcade collection. Now time to find some more, otherwise impossible to emulate, games.

Sorry I was kind of asleep, but glad to see you got it working

P.S. please do not double post, just use Edit Post instead that's located on the lower right if your posts

I also do find it odd that our main page has the out of date version but your right that's a very old version, not that there are many newer versions but that's not the point
