hello, i need help to that games, in my emulator of psx can't run, i downloaded on emuparadise these games on (s) (i think is spanish), im mexican and i like enjoy games in my own languaje (spanish) i have 2 emulators epsxe 1.5.2 and version 1.8 and don't run, can someone help me?
P my machine have:
1gb ram
1.66 ghz
and 160 hd

Are the games still compressed? That's a common first time error - post the file extension please.

If you can't get 1.8 to run i'd still reccomend trying to update to epsxe 1.7.

No need. They're all fine perfectly fine on 1.8

You do know that all the (S) versions have copy protection, maybe not 7 I'm not 100% sure any version of 7 had the copy protection in them

7 & 8 had special fixes in D3D and OpenGL plugins (these are for in game bugs not for booting the games)

sbi files are required for (S) versions of the games to bypass the copy protection, just use PEOpS CD-R plugin for that enabling sub-channel data from file

Edit yeah 7 has no copy protection as I kinda thought it didn't

8 and 9 both use LibCrypt protection that can be bypassed via sbi files, from the cue's & sbi's archive that should of been linked in the same place you downloaded the games providing you got them from us

1.8.0 will run these just fine, in-fact I recommend against using 1.7.0 because of the disc change bug in that version

If you need help with the information I gave you just give a nice reply to this thread I will get you playing these games through ePSXe for you

It's not hard to setup or anything but I did only give you outline information rather than instructions and first time setting these things up is a little confusing

more than anything I've had problems with 9 that I wanted to download Spanish

Start ePSXe

Check to see what plugins you have for CD

To check the above hit Config>Cdrom

Use the drop down and look for 'P.E.Op.S. CDR Driver #.##'

If it is not there then download that from http://www.pbernert.com/html/cdr.htm

extract that to the plugins folder for ePSXe

Once you know you have the plugin

go back to Config>Cdrom

select 'P.E.Op.S. CDR Driver #.##'

Hit Configure

Under 'Subchannel reading' hit the drop down box and select 'Use subchannel SBI/M3S info file'

at the end of 'File' under 'Subchannel reading' hit the ... and select the sbi file for the disc you are wanting to use

Hit OK to exit and save the settings, hit the next OK aswell

Now you can load the first disc as you normally would from File>Run ISO>select the cue or ccd file and hit Open
