I had high hopes for Attack on Titan but unfortunately it didn't seem to stay that awesome, at least based on how far I got in the manga (vol 5).

It's a 3rd person survival-horror stealth/shooter. When I beat it the first time it took me between 18-19 hours. A decent chunk of that was exploring and searching through areas for collectibles and supplies though. So, I suppose that's fairly long for that sort of game. Still, I was just looking at hours/money ratio. $60 for 20hrs is still a bit much unless there's a reason to replay the main story or there's a multiplayer function.

Tell that to pretty much every action/shooter game nowadays with their 8-12 hour campaigns.

Yeah, I think I like it more because I didn't know what it was at all when I watched it, like I hadn't heard any hype and it seemed decent. I really like shonen though, secretly. With that said, at first I really liked SAO but then I quickly found out how bad it was.

I think that's pretty much everyone's experience with SAO. Well, aside from hardcore fanboys.

Btw you could also try FMA Brotherhood if you haven't already. It's not gonna blow you away but as far as shounens go it's one of the better ones.

This is why if I buy a game for full-price it's usually going to be an RPG. At least then I have a higher chance of it being something I won't beat in a weekend.

It's definitely a great game! I actually pre-ordered it. It was a bit spendy, but I was thoroughly hooked after I first saw the reveal trailer.

I thought the same exact thing. Especially after seeing her digitized version in the Beyond Two Souls clips that I've seen. The resemblance is uncanny.
