NG.com is only really anal with trying to sell if you're a new member. Buying is different though. If you're willing to pay by paypal +4% for fees(or gift), a newbs money is as good as another's. I don't contribute much of anything there, but I have an okay feedback score from buying quite a bit of stuff already.
Good looking out. Feel free to give me a list of your huge wants sometime and your max price and I'll keep them in mind when I hit the stores here which I do fairly frequently.

And okay, that's good to know. I'd definitely not gift it in most situations. Worth eating the 4% to be able to do a chargeback if it goes sideways.

Oh and that cart only OB64 I mentioned...hopefully trading it for a NM Lunar 2 guide.

Cool, I might do that. I have a couple checklists up on my blog(NES, Phantasy Star, and NG MVS) already.

Yeah, I've actually always just gifted it. I know it's risky, but I've never bought any big time items from the forums. Plus I only buy from highly reputable sellers on the places I buy from. I've always had a really good experience buying from forums.

A Lunar 2 guide huh? Is it the original Sega CD guide? I have the Lunar and Vay Sega CD guides in pretty good shape. I love the old Working Designs releases.

That's cool man. I actually still don't have my driver's license. I need to fix up this car I have and finally get off my ass and finally get it.

I've been neglecting my copy of P4: Golden for a while now. I should go back and finish it sometime soon.

Yeah depends on the item I suppose. Most people are willing to gift but the guy who bought ToDII from me wasn't.

The PS1 guide. It's hardcover and was put out directly by WD. The value fluctuates. NM I'd say right now it's worth $50-60. Condition makes a big difference. Needs the DJ, all the stickers etc...

Ahh, okay. I forgot about the hardcover guides that got released during the PS1 era. I would definitely like to get my hands on the Arc the Lad Collection hardcover guide someday.

Damn, actually the Arc the Lad Collection's guide can be had brand new for relatively cheap. I might have to snag one.

It's REALLY nice and it has soooo many pages. Doesn't cover the third game. Lunar 2 guide is the only one I'm missing.

Yeah, there's a sealed one on eBay right now for $28. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on that tonight. It's the only Working Designs release I have for PS1. So I might as well have the guide to go with it.

It's a good guide. And jeez, you freaking need it for the enigma that getting Choko as a playable character in the 2nd game. Can't remember what Gamefaqs guide I used initially but it was wrong and I was salty about losing a lot of game time. You really need to follow the guide to a t. It's about as annoying as some of the difficult to get Growlanser 2 endings.

Edit: Iirc I did something too early which prevented something from triggering. I got down to the last level of that huge ass dungeon but it just wouldn't trigger the last bit. It was a mess.

I can't really remember if I got Choko in Arc II . It was so long ago, and I don't even have my old saves. Because that memory card ended up getting stolen quite a while ago. I'm going to get that guide though and then I'll start the trilogy over again. This time I'll keep hold of my memory card.

I think the last time I played was shortly after the guide. Which wouldn't have even been on the copy of the game I have now. The PSN release really killed the value. I got a NM CIB copy with a pre-order watch for $35 shipped a couple years ago.
