Same. I think I got mine after my fifth or six round against the Black Phantom Katana Skeleton dude. Took about an hour, tops. I had a harder time finding Chunks of Cloudstone. I think I spent 6 hours grinding the flying mantas in 4-3.

Agreed they are a pain. I got sick of it after a while. I'm just going to get the 2 chunks per playthrough to finish off the shield.
