    Thankfully it's cold here atm
You live in Australia, right? I'm pretty sure our summer is your winter down there - I went to Sydney one year on a trip and it was late June (hot as hell here), and it was cold and miserable the whole time I was down under. I thought I remembered a tour guide saying the seasons were opposite, but I could be totally wrong.

It's usually hot at Christmas time.

We've had frost in the mornings for the last week, not really cold though. Black ice is the main worry.
The local outdoor historical museum is having a Christmas thing on atm with fake snow (it rarely snows here where I live).

Yeah, I'd say that's the opposite of where I'm at

It was a shame I couldn't enjoy the countryside when I was down there - I spent 5 days in and around Sydney, and it rained 4 of those days.

Like any kind of OS travel, you need to research beforehand

Yeah, i'm a bit dark myself. I'm not burnt yet, but I'm getting dangerously close. My cheeks are a bit red.

Yeah, no shit - I wasn't thinking ahead on this one, and the group I went with that put this thing together apparently had no clue either
But we did spend several days in Hawaii, so that was well worth it.

Nah, I'm a tomato right now. And not the sexy kind.

Every year this happens. Apparently I refuse to learn the lesson that the sun is angry.
