Beyond the Beyond loading problem

Hi, hope this is the right place to ask.

Well ive been trying to play beyond the beyond but it only show the black screen with the "Sony Computer Entertainment America Presents"
and then just plain black...my CPU is an I3 with 512 on Ram and 256MB on VGA..

Im using Pete Open GL Driver 1.77

Hmm ive tried to download it and use it but it seems not working...still got the black screen, oh im using windows 7 btw

Strange works right out the box

where did you get the game from?

I use Pete's soft driver as well the only difference asides from the res I don't have any dither on

Edit tested with Dither set the same as your set up, it still just works

I run with Run ISO and point to the cue file

1st i download it from emuparadise of course and its not working so i try to download it from other place kinda forget tho

last time when i still use my dual core CPU it works out fine and no problem at all, im using windows vista tho, other games works out fine with the setup

What are you really using you said windows 7 before now you are saying windows Vista

My laptop is just on Windows 7 64bit
Dual core 2.10Ghz
4 GB ram
Mobil Intel(R) 4

It's not fancy or anything

I would go get the one from emuparadise.me again, extract it with 7-zip and run it via the cue file

I am using the following plugins
Video - P.E.Op.S Soft Driver 1.1.8
Sound - ePSXe SPU core 1.8.0.
Cdrom - P.E.Op.S CDR driver 1.4

I ran it from File>Run ISO and chose the cue file to load from

Analog controls need to be set to off

I mean i used to have a CPU with windows vista on and that was like 4 years ago and it worked out fine
But now im using windows 7, wait i try to download it again

Oh and there is one comment and he said he cant get this work on epsxe 1.7 but work out fine on epsxe 1.6

And yes now i can play it using epsxe 1.6...actually this is kinda weird...will try to copy some plugins from the epsxe 1.6 to the 1.7 and we'll see if that will work or not

ive downloaded epsxe 1.8..problems solved it seems all of my games work out fine...thanks ^^
